米国Ｂ２９原爆搭載機エノラゲイ号からの
原子爆弾が、広島市の中心部に落とされた。
当日は雲一つない快晴であったが、
８時１５分、強烈な閃光と轟音と共に、
広島は一瞬にして死の街となった。
白砂青松の美しい街が
地獄そのものになってしまった。

the “Enola Gay,” a U.S. B29 bomber loaded
with an atomic bomb dropped an atomic bomb
on the heart of the city of Hiroshima.
It was a clear day without a cloud in the sky,
but at exactly 8:15 a.m.,
accompanied by a violent blue-white ray
and a tremendous roar, Hiroshima, in a blink of an eye,
was transformed into a city of death.
The scenic city adorned
