Inaba Horse Family is a small riding club run by Mr.and Mrs.
Inaba. Located at
Touji village in Shimoda on Izu peninsula,our riding club is a
unique warm place
with nice people surrounded by nature and the sound of birds
singing.
At the club we
currently have 5 horses that belong to the club and 3 horses that
belong to individual owners. Our club is relatively small but we
believe this number
of horses is just about right for us to take care of
them,assuring you of safe riding.
Well cared-for and trained horses mean a calm temperament in the
stall,no biting
or no kicking without a reason,no bucking etc. We believe one
visit to us will make
you understand what I mean.
We would like everyone
who loves horses to experience the joy of horseback riding.
There are many people who would like to start riding lessons or
would like to ride
a horse at least once but are thinking ghow do I go about it ?

We believe we can offer
the ideal atmosphere and an environment for beginners to
ride. And we believe we can provide tips to those who want to
improve their riding
skills.
Our club is probably
not suitable for those who are impolite or not humble enough
to accept advice. You are in the wrong place if you are an
experienced rider who is
too proud of yourself , or people expecting some kind of posh
club .....this doesn't
sound very welcome but please come and visit us once!
Since our club is very
secluded we don't have many members, but we have many
beginners and lot of them visit us again.
Let's enjoy riding together away from the stress of daily life!!

About beginners'
lesson
We can take only 3 people at a time. If your party is 4 people we
will have
2 lessons for 2 people at a time.
About lessons for
children
Children must be at least 7 years old due to the suitability
of our horses.
About beach riding
Beach riding is a fun experience. We use our transporter to
take horses to nearby
Yumigahama beach, during the off-season when the beach is not
crowded. We
require riders to be experienced and comfortable with cantering.
The club will
judge the condition of the beach and the rider's skill.
