The taste of a journey�U of Quingdao (China)

2004年６月に再び青島を訪れました。
今回は大理石での作品制作のための訪問でした。
I visited Qingdao again in June 2004.
Last visit was to produce sculpture with marble.


採石場は青島からは山東半島の裏側に当たる莱州にあります。
莱州は延々と限りない感じで石材店が連なります。

	工場での荒落とし作業。 日本から原寸型紙と１０分の一模型を持参して職人に指示を出します。 仕上げは私の工房で行いました。 Work in the factory. A paper pattern and a model are brought from Japan, and directions are shown to the craftsman. Finishing was done in my studio.

この日のお昼は工場長（右端）の接待でした。 すっぽんのスープが出てきたりとても美味でした。	The lunch of this day was the reception of the plant manager (the right end). The soup of the tortoise came out, and they were deliciousness very much.

彫刻　　Sculpture

ここの大理石（雪華石）を使って作った作品です。
These are made sculpture by using this marble(snow flower stone).
