Besides the common way of burning and smoking insence, we appreciate Nerikoh on electronic heater in its mordern way.
Though "Nerikoh" was the name in the future generations, it was called "Takimono" in the Heian era.
So "Takimono" appeared in many scene of "The Tale of Genji".
In March,27,2005, we started this principles of the Heian Court Incense, and April,15,2006, we restored "Sentoh" the phantom insence in 600 years, then, we completed "Takimono in the Heian era".
"Takimono" is the most excellent insence form in history, "HEIANCHOKODO" is the sole way of the Heian Court Incense to recreate it.
